« on: Monday 07 September 20 15:46 BST (UK)  »
Good morning.  I have a John O'Hara and Mary Henry marrying 4/21/1856 in Waltall Stafford England.  They subsequently had a large family including John, Mary, Margaret, Ann, Sarah , Johanna, Bridget....I believe John and Mary never left Bilston and wondered if you could find any firm death dates for each?  Many thanks,
Frank

Staffordshire / Searching for William Ahearn
« on: Friday 04 September 20 15:50 BST (UK)  »
Good morning.  I am trying to find out what happened to William Ahearn and here is what I believe to be true.  He was born around 1832 in county Limerick and was married to Bridget in 12/1853 in Walsall (UK).  They had several children: Edward (57), Mary (59) and Bridget (60) living in Bilston, UK.  I show Bridget immigrating to US in 1881 but without William so wondering if he passed before the move the US.  Many thanks,
Frank

Cork / O'Hara Lineage from Possibly County Cork
« on: Saturday 29 August 20 22:29 BST (UK)  »
Good day.  It appears my GGGF and GGGM (John and Mary Ahern/O'Hara) were born in Billston, England but the US census shows both their parents born in Ireland.  John was born in 1856 and Mary 1858 so thinking their parents were born in the 1830's?  John's parents (John O'hara ... same as son... and Mary Henry/O'Hara) were possibly born in the Cork area and I strongly suspect Mary came from that area as well.  It appears her parents may have been Cornelius Ahern and Bridget Ahern (1832-1904), dies in US.  Any info on the O'Hara's or Ahern's would be appreciated, along with siblings.  Thanks,
Frank

Good day.  It appears my GGGF (John mitchell 1823-1913 from Leitrim) married Ann Bradly in 1855 and had a family with several children: Patrick and Richard came to the US during the 1880's.  Ann Passed away in 1870 and John remarried in 1871 to Sarah Feely, and had several more children (Sarah, Michael, James, Mary etc..) during the 1870's.  My quandry is trying the ensure the John Mitchell from the first group of Mitchell's is the same John Mitchell from the second group.  The timeline's match up, as does the area (Lisnabrack near Manorhamilton).  Any suggestions would be helpful...Many thanks,
Frank

Leitrim / Mitchell lineage in Manor Hamilton, County Leitrim
« on: Friday 14 August 20 21:22 BST (UK)  »
Good day.  I'm searching for my Mitchell family line (live in US) that dates back to mid-1800's. I show John Mitchell and Ann Bradley married living in Manorhamilton.  At the very least, they had two sons: Patrick (perhaps born in 1862) and Richard, born 3/1/1868.  Both immigrated to the US in the late 1800's.  Interested in any extended Mitchell family members still living the area.  Thank you
