Hi,
Just trying to decipher this section of the 1841 census. I believe my 3rd great grandfather Hilton Walmsley is listed on this census. On his marriage certificate in 1854 it states his father is a James Walmsley. On his parish birth record it only lists his mother Charlotte Roscoe as a spinster. I am yet to find a James Walmsley anywhere. However on this census I believe the head of the household is John Walmsley if I am reading it correctly? Also just wondering who the other people are on the census. I wish on this census it listed the relationships, but never mind. Any help deciphering the writing would be appreciated. I think I have attached it to this post! First time trying to do so. I have put a box around the section I am looking at. Also some help with the occupation and location if possible.
Thank you.
