Hi to all colour restorers  ;)

I have just finished restoring this b/w photo of my wife's relatives which was in pretty bad shape but it was worth it as I am sure your will agree it is a great photo.  I would be very grateful if anyone could have a go at colouring it for me. She is due to pass a copy on and a colour version would be a bonus.

Many thanks

David

This is my wife's Great Grandfather Thomas. I would really like to see this photo in colour if anyone would like to have a go.

Many thanks

This is the steam locomotive Wildebeeste. My Grandfather is the foreman boilersmith on the far right.

I would love to see this in colour if anyone would like to have a go.

Many thanks

This is me and my gorgeous little sister.  :) It was taken just before Christmas 1962 at one of the local department stores.

I was really proud of that black leather jacket which my mam and dad had bought for me that day from C&A  8). Unfortunately when we got home the next door neighbour's boxer dog jumped up and clawed the front of my jacket.  :'(. Now way did that stop me wearing it though.

We saw really heavy snowfalls during Christmas 1962 which was great for all the kids in the neighbourhood. We built baracades out of snow boulders on the traffic island right in front of the house and then went to war with snowball fights. :) :) :)

Great days

Hi to everyone

I recently bought a number of glass negatives from a local boot sale and the following photo is probably the best one amongst them. Most of the negatives seem to be of the same family and it is a pity that I am unable to find out who they are. I have restored the photo up to a point but would love to see it in colour and to know approximately when it was taken.

If anyone can spare the time I would be grateful

Many thanks

David

This is a picture of my wife's mother Mary from 1938 who sadly died two years ago. I know it's an odd thing to say about mothers in law but she was the best.  :)

I have restored this picture myself within the last couple of days but thought that it would be an interesting challenge for the restorers here. As you will see there is a large section missing. I would also greatly appreciate a touch colour.

Many thanks

I had such a good result with the clean-up and colour of the first photograph of my Grandfather so I wonder if you could do the same again with this one.

Many Thanks
