I would be grate ful for a lookup for my gg grand father David Reece,in I think Hanley, Stoke on Trent, in 1871, he would be about 28, and his fathers name was John Reece, but he was probably not living with his father at that time,I think David Reece was born in Dudley, not much to go on I know, thanks a lot. nora T

The Lighter Side / Be careful
« on: Monday 06 February 06 14:23 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all, I have not posted for a while , been doing other things, but I thought I would  tell what happen,d to me last week, I had an e mail that said it came from my bank, about my on line account,( I dont have one) and any way ,Iasked my bank and it was a fake email, My point in doing this post is, that my bank said my account was quite safe as long as I gave out no details, BUT, as my husband said, I have been giving out all over the different Family History sites on the internet, information that a bank or other institution, ask for ,for identification, for example my date of birth, my mother maiden name ect.so I think it would  be wise if we all thought what could happen if that info got into the wrong hands, and be a bit more careful as we do our family tree online.regards all, nora T.
