London and Middlesex / military record 1870's

Hello, I'm not sure I'm in the correct forum board, so please be kind and direct me to an appropriate one.

I'm looking for military records 1869-1875 for my ggf and I'm hitting a wall.

Thomas Alfred Coombs/Coombes (1850-1916). Born in Whitton/Twickenham, Middlesex.
Married to Emma Smith in 1874 Twickenham. His occupation on the marriage record is 'soldier'.
He is found in a police gazette Dec 1875 for desertion in Devonport (Plymouth area). Royal artillery.
I can't find him anywhere on the 1871 census.

Twickenham had the Royal Military School of Music but I doubt he attended this school. At one point I came across a mention of military barracks in Twickenham but I can't confirm this.

I would like to find enlistment papers, pay card, travel manifest or something. I'm used to looking at WWI attestation papers which contain sooo much info but I have a feeling they didn't collect as much in 1870.

I'm working on this 1562 Will of Bartholomew Michell from Ludgvan, Cornwall and I have some questions:
1. I can't make out the words after executer
2. I can't figure out the parish - Sainte ????  Looks like a Ch to me but there's no parish that starts like that in Cornwall
3. I can't figure out the two words that repeat before the names. At first I thought it was £ and a value, but now I think it might be an abbreviation.
4. How come the body of the is written in English and then it suddenly turns to latin and repeats the beneficiaries in latin?
3. What's the fancy stuff on the side of the Will entry? Does it have a name and does it represent anything?

Hello, I could use some assistance in deciphering the two words highlighted in yellow.  It's something 'stock'. And I'm not familiar with the abbreviation they used - usually its 'Item' or 'Itt' or similar but I haven't seen this backwards 3 with a little 'o' before. Isn't backwards 3 supposed to be shorthand for  'th'?

Hello. I'm really struggling with the latin and abbreviations. It's regarding will and inventory for Peter Leytie, decd.of Perranuthnoe, Cornwall.  I see a William Parker and another William. I would like to know the latin and english translation so I can add it to my learning library. Thank you

I've been trying to decipher the latin for months now; my brain is exhausted. I recognize that this type of paragraph is common in many Wills but the abbreviations and contractions are killing me. Its the Will of Peter Leytie, his widow Thamasine Leytie and the Archdeacon William Parker. This Will is of particular importance because we didn't know he had a wife named Thamasine. I've attached the Will and my translation in Word. Thank you.

Derry (Londonderry) / Rocktown O'neil

Hello. First time visitor on this site. I've read the threads about other Rocktown O'neills and we're not quite a match, but pretty close. 
I'm looking for info on Michael O'NEIL(O'neill) married to Margaret McCOURT. I have no confirmed documentation on either. In Griffith's evaluation, there is a Michael O'Neill, farmer, 1859, which is a pretty good match but I can't confirm it.

They are the parents of my gggf George O'NEILL (O'NEIL), farmer, born 1851 Rocktown, parish Maghera, Londonderry and died 1922 Belleville, Ontario. He married Rose Scullion of Cavan, her father being Patrick Scullion, in Ballyscullion. She was baptized 1851 in Ballyscullion and died in Belleville, Ontario in 1937.  George and Rose emmigrated to Canada in 1879.

There's a story my mom remembers that her grand father was one of 10 siblings that left Ireland during the famine. All went to Australia except one. I've debunked this story as her grandfather was born and died in Ontario. But George O'NEIL could be part of this story - the one that went to Canada during the famine (1879).

In the Ontario census, there's a John O'NEIL that shows up in the same household. I don't know what relation he is to George and Rose. And I wouldn't be surprised to find out if Michael and Margaret immigrated to Canada also, although I haven't found them in any shiplist.

So my ultimate goal is to find out if this story is true, to find George O'Neil birth town and registration, and any info on Michael and Margaret and their children.
