London and Middlesex / 4 REYNOLDS COTTAGES PLUMSTEAD
« on: Monday 05 July 10 10:49 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I would be very grateful for some help regarding the above address. My great grandmother was living at this addres in 1881 with her grandparents. I have recently been given help locating her mother and a very likely match has been found. Surprisingly they have both come up on the census as living at 4 Reynolds cottages Plumstead but they are not on the same census page. Who I think is my great great grandmother was now Sarah Wilson. On the census page they are in between ' the lodge to the Manor house ' and 4 Barrys buildings. Is it likely that the cottage had some sort of outbuilding that was accessed from another road where they may have lived ? Any help most appreciated.

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Help with marriage. Alfred Cook
« on: Friday 30 January 09 10:48 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all,
Could anyone help with the following-
I am trying to ascertain whether the marriage I have found on freeBMD for my great uncle is the correct one. I have an Alfred Cook marrying Sarah E Silver in the Prescot reg district in 1921. Alfred was born about 1902 Parr.
Could anyone point me to any resources that may help? Alfreds father was Thomas Cook and would most likely have been listed as either a farmer or Engine winder of Burtonwood.
Thank you.
