Hi

Can anyone look up a grave for me at Rectory Road, Cemetery, Sutton Coldfield?

I have the followiong information:

George Jones - Aged 48 Clerk of 162 Whitehouse Road, Sutton Coldfield.
Date of burial was 6 January 1943 in grave number 681 Section 'C'
Unconsecrated

I want to know if there is a date of birth or ay other information on a headstone.

As I live in France I would be grateful for any help and happy to pay out of pocket expenses if necessary.

I am trying to trace a Fanny SMALL ancestors / decendants or census information on her. My only clue is she was living at 162 Whitehouse Common Road, Sutton Coldfield on 1 January 1943.

I am trying to locate information on my stepmothers father (who she never knew and is desperate to find out about). His name was George Jones believed born in 1894 was  married 26 Jan 1925 in Woolwich London to an Ada STUDD and died in Whitehouse Common Road, SUTTON COLDFIELD on 1 January 1943. The informant was a Fanny SMALL of the same address. His occupation was a fitter (Office of Works) so maybe there might be some way of finding details from that angle. His father was a Thomas George JONES but that is all we know. Maybe if someone has access to the local deaths notices in a paper that would give us some more information to go on. The death was recorded on 2 January 1943.
