I have been informed this image is from 1858 - I disagree for several reasons and would like someone to give an estimate of the actual date - big clue as to error is wristwatch on woman.

Still scanning the thousands of family archive images and still trying to identify just  who they were. Can someone give me an estimated date this was taken - I think it is husband, wife, and daughter and the time frame will help me look elsewhere for just who they are. Taken in Texas a long time ago.

A date guesstimate might help me solve which side of the tree these children branched from - this is a postcard image on the reverse it is addressed to Mrs. M. J. Samuel, Coleman (in pencil). A time
frame would help in solving which side they belong on and give them names.

Hopefully it will let me add these last two to the group.

This is #2 in this group. I have six sad images of the surrender of the Japanese at the end of WWII. I posted two if them on the WWII group and someone there suggested I repost here in hopes of getting a bit of restoration done. Any magic touch is appreciated

The family this image came from lived in Texas. This image has no name or identity. I have been able to make out from his arm insignia that he is a First Sargent. I have been trying to read the patch above his left pocket to see if that is a name but I cannot get it clear enough make out. Can anyone help?

Two weeks ago I was shipped two large boxes of family photos going back to the mid 1800's. I have been sorting and organizing them into family groups and assigning names where I can. However, there are those that will remain a mystery until I can solve some time frames and whatsit about them. This is one of those mystery ones and I would appreciate any help that can be given on age of person, time frame of image, and military rank and info. It is one of those post card images that were so prevalent back around the turn of the century a hundred years ago.
