Hello all,

I know the approximate date of this class photo as being about 1888.  I have a series of these, but will only post one right now.  If there's anyone out there who can also help identify the school and any individuals, that would be fantastic.

Here's what I know.  It belonged to my great grandmother Minnie Isobel Banks.  It's from Revere MA.  The time my great grandmother lived in Revere is from about 1887 - 1892.  However, she would be about 17 in 1887, so my guess is that the photo is from 1888.  I do not know which photo is my great grandmother either.

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.  The clothes from this dated photo may also be used to help date other photos from this time period.

If anyone is interested in seeing the whole album, you can view it at

Hello,

I was wondering what everyone thought about the two photos.   Is it the same woman in both photos, just take at different times?  They are both cabinet card photos.  Also if anyone can put a date and they age of the woman I would really appreciate it.

Regards, Jim

I'd like to know about what date this photo was taken and what the approximate ages of the subject are.  It is a tin type photo, most likely taken from New Britain, CT in the USA.  You help is appreciated.

Occupation Interests / Physician in London in 1820s
« on: Tuesday 04 September 12 09:09 BST (UK)  »
Hello,

I was wondering what a physicians life in London might be like in the 1820s.  Is there a book which might describe the life of a physician at the time?  My ancestor Henry L. Sanders was a physician around that time in London.

I also know he went to Germany for a stint in the 1820s where one of his children were born. In the late 1830's, he emigrated to the United States.

Your help is appreciated.
