New Zealand Completed Requests / Ida Catherine Waldron1890
« on: Wednesday 03 June 20 14:34 BST (UK)  »

I wondered if anyone could confirm if Ida C Waldron married a person with the surname ROBERTS after 1943. I have found a possible death for a Ida Catherine Roberts in 1974 and cemetery record for Taruheru, with a birth date of 04 04 1890 which is a possible match. There is also a person named John Cartwright buried in the same grave. Cartwright was Ida's father surname and the age matches.

I know she married twice but can not find her on the indexes with a marriage to Roberts.

New Zealand Completed Requests / Cremation of Walter Pywell 1964
« on: Thursday 28 May 20 09:59 BST (UK)  »

I wondered if anyone could help me with finding the cremation record or area in the Cemetery for Walter named above.

On his death certificate it just says cremated at Christchurch on the 27th August.

I have tried here with no luck.

I was told there maybe a copy of this book on line to download. Is anyone aware of the link at all.

I had some help a few months ago about this lady and have just found out she had another child prior to Lesley J Pywell who was adopted.
Hopefully when I purchase Lesley's birth certificate next month it may make interesting reading.

Previous topic here.

New Zealand Completed Requests / Looking for a 1st marriage
« on: Monday 24 February 20 16:34 GMT (UK)  »
Hi All.

Walter Pywell was born in England and served in the New Zealand forces going on to marry in 1924.

I seem to have a daughter born in 1920 called Lesley June (deceased).

I can not find an earlier marriage.

I do have Walter's death certificate and the will of his wife Maria I (Udy) which states Lesley is his daughter.

Northamptonshire / Steve Garton-Rootschatter R.I.P.

I was deeply saddened today to learn that Steve Garton who many of us know has passed away.

He was related to me through my Eady lineage and recently proved we both shared DNA.

May he find peace at last. Condolences to his family.

I have had a new DNA Match who has my 2nd Gt Grandfather's wife being his son's wife.

Although other relatives mainly Deacon, Walden, Barritt are correct they seem to wander of to folk who I do not think are correct.

Hi. I wondered if anyone could look up a marriage for me at all please.

The image is very faint on Anc****  and therefore it maybe easier to see the information on the actual copy .

If so I could message the details.

I wondered if anyone has had difficulty in ordering cd's on line from the Society.

I am aware that the society is run by volunteers. I made an order through Genfair on the 21st of December and although I had the payment taken from my account on 23rd still no goods.

I have rung the place I ordered from but still no dispatch has been given to me.
