Dumfriesshire / Boyd's & Murray's of Hoddom/Ecclefechan

I am researching Thomas BOYD (born c.1823 in Ireland ) & Janet MURRAY (born c. 1829 - 1831 in Hoddam) their children were Hugh (born 1847 in Hoddam) Margaret (born 1850 in Hoddam) Female child of unknown name (born march 1851 in Hoddam) Mary Ann (born 1853 in Hoddam).
Hugh died dec 1879 single.
Margaret married Andrew SCOTT may 1875 in Carlisle, Cumberland.
Mary Ann married John McDONALD 1871/2 in Hoddam (record not found)
I have not been able to find a marriage record for Thomas & Janet or a death record for Thomas .
Any help on this family would be appreciated.
