Would a kind soul please remove the words "OPC's own collection" from the attached image?
I put the words on the image several years ago, (at which time I was an OPC for Wiltshire) but now can't locate the original.  I would like to use the image but need the said wording removed as it doesn't apply now.

Sorry, a long winded explanation I know, but just in case anyone was thinking I might be doing something 'immoral'!

I’m researching the names on Wiltshire war memorials and have got stuck with this one:

M2/182194 Private Harold Thomas Fry, Royal Army Service Corps, 593 Mechanical Transport Co att. V111 Corps Heavy Artillery. 
Killed in action 12 April 1918 age 33, commemorated Ypres Reservoir Cemetery, Belgium, Grave Ref 111.E.15

593 Mechanical Transport Company was formed in October 1915; an Ammunition Column for 33rd Brigade RGA, they served in France under XIV Corps and VIII Corps as “H” Siege Park

Can anyone help by telling me where Private Fry’s unit was on 12 April when he was killed and hopefully what was happening there?  I’ve been going round in circles on this.

School Admissions Registers for Semley and East Knoyle can be found at wiltshire-footprints.co.uk

These can be especially helpful because (a) the child's date of birth is given in almost all cases and (b) the date they left school and (c) where they moved to (if they left the parish), plus parent or guardian's name.

There are more to follow those already on line in due course.

I am researching William Harry Long born Charlton Marshall Dorset:

Missing pieces:  1901 Census and maiden name of wife.  Can anyone help please?

Birth registered Sept Q 1877 Blandford Reg District 5a 251 (listed as William Charles Long)

1881 Census - Newtown, Charlton Marshall, Dorset.  Age 3.  Father’s occupation Woodman
1891 Census - Newtown, Charlton Marshall, Dorset.  Age 13, occupation Woodman
1901 Census - ?????
1911 Census - Huggler’s Hole, Semley.  Lodger.  Age 33, single, Railway Porter

Wife Mary Ann Long (Semley Electoral Register 1917 & 1918) Maiden name ?????

Wiltshire Completed Lookup Requests / Donhead St Andrew War Memorial

Would a kind person living in or near Donhead St Andrew be able to get a list of the names on the war memorial in the churchyard for me please?  I found this quote on a website, but no actual names:

"The Donhead St Andrew War Memorial commemorates ten men, of whom two are brothers, from the First World War, and five from the Second World War."
