I am trying to find out what connection Edward Davies (mistranscribed as Davia) has to the Lewis Family. In the 1871 census he is staying with the Lewis Family with his 3 sons, and is listed as Son-in-law, but I do not know who his wife is, because in previous censuses, their 3 daughters (That I know of) have married names like,  Susannah Coates, Sarah Bridge and Elizabeth Stevens, so who did Edward marry?

On the marrigae certificate May 26th 1870 for John David Lewis (son of John & Ann Lewis)  and Elizabeth Agnes Tourney the witnesses are Edward Davies & Elizabeth Stevens. His name keeps popping up but I cant find the connection . Any help would be appreciated

I'm hoping someone can find him in the 1861 census and find out his wifes name for me please,
If not in Liverpool could be Wales but I'm not sure..he was listed as Widower in 1871 census.
Susannah Coates (nee Lewis) , husbands name would also be appreciated, she is also listed as Widow in 1871 census.

I have 1911 census info for my Grandfather John Peter Lewis Stevens, who was staying with Richard Sharples and his family. His mother had died and his father went to sea, never to be seen of again (supposedly went to America) So my grandfather was adopted by the Sharples Family. In the 1911 Census, Richard Sharples is listed as a widower, and John Peter Lewis Stevens as his Nephew, I'm not sure if this is right, So to find out I need his wifes name too to check if it is from her side of the family, her name hopefully will be on the preceeding censuses.
Richard was born approx 1844 in Broughton Lancashire, they had a son John Thomas Sharples, born Preston in 1871 as he is on the 1911 census with his dad, with his wife Elizabeth and their 9 children.
