Family History Beginners Board / Missing before 1901

Help please. I am trying to find my great grandfather prior to 1901 census.  He was Alfred bates born around 1st or 3rd
August 1880 in hillingdon and married gt grandma Alice selina Poole in 1909 giving age as 26 father Fred bates gentleman.  I can locate alfred on census records from 1901 onwards untik his death in 1935 but not before and cannot find a birth record for him.  I am just wondering if he could be illegitimate as I have found an Alfred paine born 4th aug 1879 Uxbridge

Just wondered if someone could help. Alfred paine was born 4 aug 1879 Uxbridge mother was Eliza paine born 1852 hillingdon parents Emma and Charles paine.  In 1881 Alfred was living woth Eliza's parents but I am unable to locate him on 1891 census or on any records and census beyond 1881. Eliza seemed to change her surname to Bates from 1881 but I am unable to locate a marriage for her. I can find her on 1881 and 1891 census but not beyond this. Any help greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

I’m trying to locate where Edith kate Tilly nee foxworthy is buried. She died in totnes district in 1907 aged 29. I have located the rest of her family in st Clements Dartmouth but am unable to locate where she is buried so any help greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

I have recently obtained some photos of no 6 mobile field photographic section of 39 recce wing Royal a Canadian Air Force 83 group 2nd tactical Air Force which I wbelieve were taken in England in 1944 possibly at raf odiham prior to them taking part in d day and he Normandy landings. I am trying to identify the men in the photos some of which I have attached but to no available so far so any help or advice would be much appreciated and thanks in advance. I do have more photos

I'm aware you have to apply to mod for ww2 records but before I do so just wondered if anyone can identify the Mans uniform and possible regiment InThe attached pic. His name was George henry bishop b 1915 and h survived the war. I believe this pic was taken 1940. Many thanks in advance

Neville was born 1863 in Somerset. A relative of mine believes he is related to our ancestor Jesse howse who was born 1872 in datchet
