Northumberland / Help needed at Tyne & Wear Archives (if it's open)
« on: Saturday 04 September 21 16:23 BST (UK)  »
If Tyne & Wear achives is open, could anyone visiting help with a couple of quick look ups?
Family Search has a couple of Horsman entries for NBL Non Conformist Records. They give the dates but NOT the church.

I suspect the church in question may be Byker St Lawrence R C.  (the family were in Heaton in 1911)

Marriage 2 August 1919
Georgium Horsman = Elizabeth Lloyd  - his dad was Gulielmi Horsman

Baptism
8 August 1920
Dorothea Horsman   d/o Georgii & Elizabeth LLoyd Horsman

All I need is confirmation that the Church was Byker St Lawrence RC
(although if its not - other suggestions would be welcome)
The spelling of the names to me suggests it was R C

Thanks

Dublin / Dublin Burials - before Glasnevin cemetery opened
« on: Monday 24 May 21 15:36 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone suggest where Catholic Burials would have taken place before Glasnevin cemetery opened?
The Horseman family married and had children baptised at St Marys RC.  The family lived in the area of Great Britain Street / Jervis Street.

Thanks

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Hull Burial in 1850
« on: Saturday 17 April 21 11:36 BST (UK)  »
Thomas Goodman {Goodwill} Horsman  died at the Workhouse, Whitefriar Gate, Hull on 1 Sept 1850.
I have looked at Yorkshire burial records on FindMyPast, but can't find him,  so I suspect he will be buried in a cemetery.  Can anyone suggest which one it may be.

Thanks

Has anyone access to the MI's for Kirby Wiske ?
FindMyPast indicates that there is a stone for Timothy Horsman  (d. 1793).  I wondered what his inscription says.

Thanks

Durham / Oxbridge Lane Cemetery records
« on: Sunday 23 August 20 16:27 BST (UK)  »
Many years ago I found burial records online for Stockton Oxbridge Lane Cemetery.  I cant find them online any more.  I suspect they were on the council web site, which may have been changed.  An earlier post refers to a web site which also appears to have changed 'topics' and is now a personal blog.
Does anyone know if they are online anywhere else?.  I know Durham Records Online has early records, but I am looking 1940 and later.

Thanks

Durham / Hartlepool Registars Indexes
« on: Monday 06 July 20 16:28 BST (UK)  »
Many years ago I was able to access the Hartlepool Registrars index of Marriages, get a reference number which I was able to cross reference to a list of churches.
Tees Valley indexes has a link to Hartlepool Registrars - but it no longer links to the indexes.

Does anyone know if the Registrars Index still exists for Hartlepool Marriages, and if so where ?

Sue
