« on: Tuesday 08 March 22 15:44 GMT (UK)  »
Looking for information on the above in Fermanagh. The marriage gave 6 sons Francis, John, Philip, James Daniel & Patrick between 1838-50
Patrick O'Rourke, b. abt 1820Fermanagh was said to be from Shanmullagh, Fermanagh by his sonPhilip and Philip recorded that he was born in Knocknahunsin (spelling?).
Mary Burns also Fermanagh b.1820 is thought to have lived close to the Lietrim border, possibly Tievebunion.
Mary is next found in 1854 (marriage) Bothwell, Scotland with 5 of her sons (Francis emigrated to Archbald, Penn. USA) in late 1850's and was located. her husband Patrick may have died around 1850' and Mary m. Bernard Short in the 1854 Bothwell marriage. Have the tracked the family in Scotland, but looking for any information on both Mary and Patrick in Fermanagh, and their parentage

Selkirkshire / Robert Beveridge Currie
« on: Monday 12 October 09 12:13 BST (UK)  »
of Seton House, Galashiels, born 1888 to Andrew L Currie & Mary Squair.
Cannot find Robert's Marriage or Death certificates in Scotland, possibly he dropped the Beveridge name, but don't think that's likely. Likely he may have emigrated. Robert was descended from Curries of Howford, and great nephew to John Lang Currie the Australian Pastoralist and Pioneer, so Australia as well as the US are possibilities
I don't discount WW1, but no obvious connections on CWG site.
Is there anyone researching the Currie family who can assist.
