HI,
Have reached a complete stalemate over Grandfather Joseph Alexander Miller who arrived in Sydney, Australia circa 1879 age 25.
He had 9 children in Sydney and on ALL birth certificates there are different places for HIS birth?
eg Kingston Jamaica; Liverpool; Halifax; Halifax Canada; Portsmouth UK; Portsmouth Jamaica and just Jamaica etc.
He was a Ship's Cook and opened restaurants in Sydney.
On his death certificate one son states that J A's parents were Joseph Miller and Margaret Turner married in St Ann Bay Jamaica.
I have tried numerous West Indies sites without success, SO, Any help please.
Any interest in RootsChat on the West Indies?
