« on: Tuesday 03 January 23 12:08 GMT (UK)  »
was there any official emmigration to South Africa from stirlingshire in the 1870,s?
I am trying to trace Thomas Reid b. 1860 in Torpichan. He shows up on 1861 and 1871 census and then disappears. He married Amy Harrison in South Africa in April 1888 and I have him from then.

Hi,
I have three officers uniforms of Rhodesian Air Force. There is very little interest to collectors in UK.
Is there any interest in Zimbabwe?

Derbyshire / illegitimate birth in Wirksworth
« on: Friday 25 September 20 07:52 BST (UK)  »
hi,
is there any reason why a Scottish girl would come all the way from Scotland to have a baby in Wirksworth in 1965?
The baby was then adopted and the mother presumably returned to Scotland.

                                                                                     thanks...........bigjon
