Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Daft question re dna shared match

Hi all,

I have received a matches email which has puzzled me and I'm hoping someone far better than me has some insight or answers.

I have a dna site account which has myself and my partner under one sign in, and I manage it for both of us. On scrolling down the matches email I saw a name that is a match for me, and then, scrolling down, they also match with my partner. It's definitely the same person. We both share 3-5th cousin matches with this person.

Does this mean that myself and my partner are distantly related? Or is it just me overthinking this??

This photo may be easier to date and age than my last upload.

This one is a male, looking rather 'posh' but I suspect he was just in his Sunday best for the photo?

If anyone can determing roughly when you think it was taken and the age of the man, I may then be able to tie him in with my previous request of the lady in the fur coat and hat.

Denbighshire / The Gas house , Ruabon

I have a painting that is labelled as the Gas house, Ruabon. I have googled the name but all I get is agency listings for houses to rent/buy. ::)

Does/did this place exist? Or am I on a fruitless search? Is the name just a nickname and therefore that's why I can't find anything about it?

Has anyone heard of this house or know anything about it?

The Common Room / Death certificate cause of death

Apologies if posted in the wrong place, or of a sensitive nature. I have a death certificate which states the cause of death is Septic Abortion.  What does the cause of death actually mean? I thought I'd ask as my mind is probably working overtime on this!

London and Middlesex / Arthur H M Lord mystery

I am going round in circles so though I'd ask on here to see if anyone else can discover anything.

I have two marriages for Arthur H M lord: q4 1910 Brentford, to either a Florence M bird or Edith Nichols. I think I have the correct marriage for Arthur - to Edith Nichols, as there is a 1911 census with John Willis ( the other Groom for this set of 4 people marrying) and Florence M.

Then Arthur H M lord married in 1913 to a Dorothy M Goodey.

I have found a birth reg for 1863 for an Arthur H M Lord in Gloucestershire.

But that is all I can find.

I can't find him on any census, nor a death. And neither a death for Edith, if the second marriage is correct, but given the three forenames, of Arthur Hugh Matthew, it seems to be. Nor a death for Dorothy M.

Do you think that what I have found is correct and is there any more information that I am not seeing available?
