Can anyone help with the location of this South Wales Cinema please? I don't think it's Swansea but otherwise have no idea where in South Wales it could be.
The photographer was F W Holloway c.1915, he would would not have travelled farther than South Wales,

Hi ,
Can anyone help please? I have a death certificate that says Timothy Lyons died in the Union Workhouse St John, Cardiff, 1889. The only workhouse I can find is in here:

under Workhouse locations/Welsh Poor Law Unions/Glamorgan/Cardiff
would that be the same one?

Hi ,
I'm trying to find the death of Fanny Jordon (Dix) married to George William Jordan (1898) in Little Compton or Salford and any children. I've got 2 possible children Edith b.1898 and Elsie b.1900
I have tried free bmd and ancestry.
If any one could lift the Jordans from the parish records from 1898 I would be very grateful,

Can anyone shed a little light here I wonder!
Just had the death cert for William Dix Mar 1866 Salford. His wife Elizabeth Dix (née Phillpot) was still alive but the informant of the death was Elizabeth Margetts present at the death Salford.
Who is Elizabeth Margetts? I have searched the whole village of Salford 1871 - no Margetts. But I have found William's daughter Emma marrying John Margetts of Chipping Norton in Aug 1877.
Can anyone find a connection? Possible friends?
