Hi,
I will be extremely grateful for any help in trying to track down the Wadleys of Pershore.
I have a marriage certificate for the Parish Church of the Holy Cross, Pershore dated Jan 28th 1843 for:
Richard Robinson, ofa, ba, labourer, Pershore, Thomas Robinson, Cooper
Harriet Wadley, ofa, sp, Pershore, John Wadley, Cordwainer
witness, the mark of Jane Wadley
I also have a birth certificate for their first child Margaret Harriet Robinson, born 27 July 1843 at Saint Andrew, Pershore, registered at Pershore. Interestingly the registrar was William Wadley (most likely a relative) and what or where was Saint Andrew?
This is where I am stuck. I have searched the IGI unsuccessfully, do not have access to Ancestry, and am unable to get to Worcestershire Records Office.
If Harriet and father John can be found on the 1841 census, it will be a step in the right direction, any any other information any kind soul can provide will be very much appreciated.
Thank you in anticipation
Chris
