Help!

Doing my friends family tree and i am unable to find his grandmothers birth certificate

Her name is Dorothy English Whewall
Born in 1917 in wolstanton.
I have a marriage to willism bateman but cannot find ger parents

The family felt there was something odd as i was told by them she was 'farmed out' to other relatives. It is believed her mother was called winifred

Not sure where to go from here
Btw tried every variation.

Trying to find the marriage details of a James Taylor who married Ann(ie) Ellis around 1882/4 +/- . Probably Worksop Nottinghamshire

Help Im doing a friends family history and im already stuck looking for her paternal grandfather. Here is what i have.

Arthur Goodall b 1885/6 york.
married Beatrice Cooper 14/12/10. I have the marriage cert in sutton on the forest York which states his father is either Jimmy (James) or Johnny and that Arthur was residing at that time in York.

I have 1911 census living in sutton on the forest with his wife beatrice ( although it states goodHall)

There are several arthur goodalls born around this time in york area, but without forking out for all their birth certs cannot confirm which is which.

Anyone any ideas please?

Durham Lookup Requests / Look up request Harton workhouse

Does anyone have access to names of unfortunates who were in Harton workhouse South shields. Specifically between 1908 to 1913. Just found out my gran and her sister were in sometime during that time. Born in stockton on tees but my g grandmother and the two girls moved to south shields and allegedly they were there until they found somewhere to live. I have them in 1911 census living in waterloo lane but could be just before this time. I do not have access to find my past that has the records apparently.

Their names are Frances West (mother) Margaret and Isabella west ( daughters)

Carmarthenshire / unknown village

Can anyone tell me if they have heard of somewhere called Egliskinning in Carmarthenshire. Possibly around st Clears? It seems to clearly state that on a 1851 census which was in Manobier pembrokeshire. I am not too sure of Welsh geography.

Hope i can get a little help here but doing my friends family tree whose relative Alexander Phillimore/Phillimon i now believe was born in Ireland. I think i have him on the 1871 census age 30 in manchester but surprisingly states he was born somewhere in Ireland. Could anyone help?

Lancashire / Philemon brick wall

I am doing a friends family tree but have come up against my brick wall.
Alexander Philemon born apparently in Chorlton Manchester in about 1841 and married Ellen Edwards his 2nd wife in manchester. From there i have their childrens names but can find no record on census or record of his first marriage at all. I have tried several variations of his name but with no luck at all...Any suggestions anyone?
