« on: Thursday 13 June 19 01:21 BST (UK)  »
Hi guys,

I wonder if anyone could possibly help me please?

I am trying to locate a birth for a Marguerite Elizabeth (or Eliza) M Michiels born 29th July 1925 in Belgium possibly Antwerp. I have found her first marriage to a Robert T Rook in 1947 also in Belguim in the army marriages index but I am stuck on her birth, parents and any siblings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Europe / Italy birth record - Pietro Guarnerio
« on: Monday 03 December 18 19:29 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I wonder if someone can help me please?

I am trying to locate the birth of a Pietro Guarnerio born around 1798 in Italy. He did move to the UK as he married a Mary Southwell in Huntingdon in 1823. All census records only state that he was born in Italy and a Naturalised British Subject but doesn't state where in Italy. Nothing is coming up on Ancestry or Find My past and I dont know where else to look.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Lancashire / Thomas Lamb 1789 Cockerham
« on: Tuesday 13 November 18 22:58 GMT (UK)  »
Hi guys,

I'm trying to find information on Thomas Lamb born 1789 in Cockerham to Cuddy and Dorothy Lamb but not having much luck and was wondering if anyone else has information on him.

I have a 4th great grandad by the same name and year of birth that was a labourer that married and died in Lambeth, Surrey but wasn't born there and I'm trying to figure out if it is the same person.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ann

Surrey / was my 4th great grandad born as a baptist? so confused
« on: Sunday 07 October 18 13:57 BST (UK)  »
Hi guys,

My apologies if this seems a weird question but I am extremely confused about baptist records and it doesn't help that I am poorly today and my concentration is out of whack.

The situation is I have been researching and stuck on my 4th great grandad Thomas Lamb for years. I have his marriage, all his children who were born under the C of E and I have his burial record. Now with his burial record I located it in the Non Conformists & Non Parochial record set and he was buried 1821 in East Street Baptist Chapel, Walworth, Surrey. It states the denomination as baptist and with his age it puts his birth around 1789. My questions is because of where he was buried was his birth registered as baptist? (something I cant seem to locate), also something else that is puzzling is one of his baby daughters Sarah Lamb was buried a few weeks after him in the same place in 1822 but she was born under C of E. Was this normal?

Thank you

Sussex / History of Cottage in Cackle Street/Frederick Road, Hastings
« on: Friday 27 July 18 17:27 BST (UK)  »
Hi guys,

I wonder if anyone can help me please with regards to a cottage that I am moving into that is on Frederick Road (used to be Cackle Street). The information that the present owner has is that it was possibly built c1805 and known as The Gatehouse and is one of two cottages that were built around that time, the other one still exists as well. Its a lovely little cottage and the present owner and myself are interested in finding out more of its history or past owners.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
