Warwickshire / WW1 pensions records

I need some help please, I am trying to find my fathers ww1 pensions record. My father joined the army in 1914, Sidney Stokes Royal Army Medical Corps Reg. No. 34435. I have his medal roll which tells me he was discharged on 26th. Jan.1917. I have been told that although alot of records were destroyed in WW2 the pensions records were kept in another place and they survived but try as I may I just cannot find him.

Berkshire / public houses in Faringdon

I am trying to find out about public houses and inns at Faringdon in t he very early 1800s. Got a relative down as an innkeeper in 1814 and as a publican in 1816 (shown on birth records Faringdon church) but cannot find any records of pubs at that time, Any help woud be appreciated.

Still looking for the Edge family from around the Ellesmere district of Shropshire. We have been to the records office in Shrewsbury and have found some but have to sort out as there seems to be many with the same first name. Thomas. Found one from Ellesmere Thomas Edge, son of Samuel Jackson and Hannah nee Edge in 1771. can anyone shed some light please.

Can anyone help me find the marriage of Willie Robertson and Elizabeth Goddard, married in early 1880s, had a son names Willie born 1884. I have searched all avenues but cannot find a marriage. Have got all their children, even got Willies birth and his death ::)I really would like to find a living relative. They lived in Birmingham.
