Carmarthenshire / Job Jones of Llandingat
« on: Tuesday 12 September 17 12:00 BST (UK)  »
Hi Rootschatters,

I wonder whether anyone has access to Llandingat parish records. I am looking for Job Jones. The 1841 census states that he was born in about 1807 in LLandingat. In 1826 he married Esther Rees in Myddfai. I have been unable to access LLandingat parish records on Familysearch and other websites.  If his date of birth and the names of his parents can be confirmed, I would be most grateful.

Thank you for reading this message.

Hi Rootschatters,

If anyone has access to Kirtlington parish records, I would be very grateful for any details of children born to Daniel and Elizabeth Jackman. A son, Daniel, was born in 1752, but were there any other children?

Essex Lookup Requests / GOOD EASTER PARISH LOOK-UP PLEASE
« on: Wednesday 16 April 14 12:54 BST (UK)  »
Hi Rootschatters,

Does anyone have access to the Good Easter baptismal records?  I have run into the proverbial brickwall in searching for the baptism of Edward Oddy in 1780-82. It is a bit of a longshot, but the family has links with Good Easter.

Many thanks for reading this message.

Nottinghamshire Lookup Requests / CLAYWORTH BAPTISM
« on: Wednesday 22 January 14 13:33 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Rootschatters,

I would appreciate any assistance in searching the baptism records for Clayworth.  In 1771 George Oddy, the son of George Oddy and Mary Oddy, nee Urton, was baptised in the parish church. Did the couple have any other children? Help with discovering any names and dates would be most welcome.

Thank you for reading this message.

Oxfordshire / James Jackman of Swalcliffe/Shutford
« on: Thursday 21 November 13 17:11 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

The 1841 census contains an entry for James Jackman living in the parish of Swalcliffe. Following his death in 1858, his descendants were resident in Shutford.

I would be most grateful if anyone would kindly check the baptismal records for Swalcliffe and Shutford in the period 1790 - 2 for evidence of his baptism, and possibly the names of his parents.

Many thanks
