Family History Beginners Board / Searching male line

Hello all

I have a marriage certificate for Joseph Worthington and Emmie Holland in the County of Lancaster in June 1937 , It says his Fathers name is also Joseph Worthington . Can anyone suggest how I can trace back the correct male line as I have no other information on the family .

Derbyshire / Hilda Rose Elizabeth Wood Derby help please

Hi Folks

I'm looking for any information on Hilda Rose Elizabeth Wood born Derby 1923 to William and Rose Wood nee Williamson .
The family lived at 7 Bakewell Street Derby .

I know her father died when she was six weeks old .

I can only find her birth record on line then all trace seem to disappear

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any access to Derby Trade Directories for the Wilmorton area ?

I'm trying to find out about my Great Grandmother Harriet Worthington who ran some shops in the area with her children , I would like to know when she first moved to the area as I know she was in Liverpool in 1911.

Hi  Folks,

 Iam searching for the children of Thomas and Mary Ann Jones who were married at Garston Church in 1903 , they lived in Thomas Street at the time.

There seems to be a lot of Jones's living in Garston and Iam struggling to pinpoint which ones they are

Iam struggling to find any death details for Mary Worthington born 1885 Garston Lancashire , married Thomas Jones 1903 in Garston.

I can't seem to find if they had any children either ?

Dublin / Help with finding Death

Ive just found out my Grandfather * Sheppard died last year 2010 and I believe he was from Dublin
Does anyone know how I can find anymore information like date of death and where he is buried?
I don't live in Ireland so I would prefer info about online searches I could do .
Any help would be greatly appreciated
