United States of America / "Immigration record's to Sydney, N.S.W." Mystery man Jay Henry CARLETON.

I'm looking for Immigration info. on Jay Henry CARLETON.
 He immigrated to Sydney, N.S.W. before 1869.
He was born, in Portland, (Maine, Maryland, or Oregon), 1848.
 His parent's were Jay Henry CARLETON and Elanor GLASSON.   
I can't find him on any U.S.Census, or his parent's.
As I say he's a mystery man.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for emigration record's N.S.W. and any postal addresses, for Jay Henry CARLETON. He came to Australia before 1869, (I think Sydney), from U.S.A.
He was born 1848 in Portland, (Maine, Marylandor Oregon). His parent's were Jay Henry CARLETON and Elanor GLASSON.
He married Sarah COLEMAN in 1869, Paramatta. They had 3 children.
He then married Eleanor HARRIS in Sydney 4-1-1882. On his marriage certificate it states his occupation as a Contractor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would someone be able to do a birth look up in parish records and for parent's for a Samuel Warren born between 1832 and 1836, Ellingham. I have his father as Samuel Warren.
