Radnorshire Lookup Requests / Ashford/Owen marriage Llandrindod, Radnorshire
« on: Thursday 22 March 12 14:48 GMT (UK)  »
I have found a marriage on ancestry of Joseph Ashford and Elizabeth Owen in Llandrindod, Radnorshire on 30 Dec 1814 and the groom is from Tachbrook, Warwickshire and the marriage was by licence.  This all fits except for the date - my Joseph and Elizabeth were born in 1804 and 1806.  In case there is a transcription error I wondered if anyone could check the original registers or Bishops Transcripts if they have a copy/access to them.

This has been puzzling me for a few years and I would love to solve it.  The first child of the couple was born in Tachbrook in 1832 so I would imagine the marriage should be between 1825 and 1832.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Court records - COMPLETED
« on: Monday 08 February 10 19:52 GMT (UK)  »
I have found a record for Edwin Dresch for a trial on 20 March 1871 - Middlesex adjourned general session held at Clerkenwell (ancestry data).  I have looked at the National Archives but cannot see where or how to access the trial record or find more details of the offence or where the sentence was to be served. (12 months)

I am sorry if I should have been able to work this out but am stuck.  Another Edwin was tried in 1865 and I have that from the Old Bailey transcripts.

I have an entry from the CambFHS burial index for Mary Ann Marsh, widow of Thomas age 25 from Willow Walk, Cambridge U.K.  It is for St Andrew the Less, 1829.  She may be the Mary Ann below.

I am having great difficulty in tracing Thomas and Mary Ann, parents of Henry (1822) and Charles (1825) - King Street, All Saints Church.  The burial entry or Mon. Inscription for Mary Ann might help me.  I cannot find any trace of marriage of Thomas or his death, or in the later census.  Charles and Henry were in London by 1841.

Thank you.
