I am looking to see if I can find any additional information re:

MANLEY Thomas

In 1930 he arrives at the age of 17 from Manchester and the passenger lists records he will staying at the Uniting Church of Canada Hostel in Norval (?)  I am not sure about the cirmcumstances he would have immgrated and why he is going to the Hostel.  (I have the Passenger List)

He marries Helen Louise Fraser in 1937 (I have the Marriage Certificate)   he died in 1973

my  look up request would to see if I can find any additional information re where they may have lived, possible any Children...  Did Thomas become a Canadian Citzen?  When and Where did Helen die?  Did he become a Canadian Citizen?

MCLENNON Mary Ann

I have I believe Mary Ann's bapt. Killeavy Upper, Armagh, Ireland 1 Feb 1860  and I have her on the 1871 census

I think that Charles and Mary marry in Wigan in June quarter 1881 and they are on the 1891 census with children and mother in law  (Lancashire)

I can't find a birth for Charles and just can't locate a death for either Charles or Mary Ann.

Is it possible to see if we can find a death

Is it possible for find any information re Marriages for

HOLBEN John Topham   (I have his Bapt)

when I search I have found Christenings for 2 children with his spouse name Elizabeth

William    11 Jan 1755  at       Elsworth
Elizabeth   18 April 1757  at    Elsworth

plus a burial
 
daughter Sarah.................... 17 June 1757   no bapt found yet???

and a burial

Wife Elizabeth ..................... 18 April 1757    ??

There is possibly another son born abt 1753 but hitting my brickwall with this (Robert)

Then I have numerous Baptisms for children with John Topham Holben and spouse Alice

         Sussannah        1769
         Sarah               1771
          John                1773

Looks like its Alice Burial......... 29 January 1811 a widow
John Topham  burial ............... 1 Jan 1788

On line trees seem to link all the children to Elizabeth Alice Thornton...  but given the burial in 1757  I am hoping someone may be able to locate a marriage(s) for John Topham for 2 ladies

I have Johanna's death as 14 May 1892 Childers Street North Adelaide

Any help with more info re Johanna arrival into South Australia??



Williams death I believe is in 1907  but an online tree records a death in 1895 at Willunga, but given this records wife as Bridget I think this is possible a mix up??  more likely the burial in 1907
