Surplus used microfilms and microfiche offered for disposal
Due to the relocation of our Family Records Centre services to Kew, The National Archives is offering the following batches of redundant microfilms and microfiche, free, on a first-come, first-served basis:

This comprises approximately 12,000 used microfiche, occupying space equivalent to approximately 450 reels of microfilm.

Terms and Conditions
Only requests for whole batches will be accepted. The National Archives is not seeking payment for these films and fiche.
The films and fiche are currently held at the Family Records Centre (FRC), London EC1, and the successful requester must remove them from FRC, at their own cost, between 17 and 20 March 2008.
The films and fiche are offered on an 'as seen' basis, and no warranty or guarantee is offered as to their quality or completeness.
Any copyright restrictions on the films/fiche or their content will remain after disposal. These films/fiche cannot be used for the purposes of digitisation or other publication.
