Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / DNA awful muddle
« on: Thursday 05 December 19 18:19 GMT (UK)  »
Having recently received my Ancestry DNA results am unable to unravel it.
Its quite crazy, how on earth can a couple born 1878 and 1880 with deaths 1940 and the male in 1943 respectively, have produced a child early 1940s. Am supposing the man had a relationship with a female of childbearing age, shortly before his death. Perhaps am barking completely up the wrong tree.
Help please.

The Common Room / Whats the connection to Megan
« on: Monday 23 July 18 08:19 BST (UK)  »
What is the connection of this British soldier Thomas Bird to Megan, newest member of the Royal Family.
Thomas Bird  22nd Cheshire Regiment Private, married an Ulster Catholic in Donnybrook Dublin 1860.
Usually any new member of this family will have had their entire Family Tree published quite quickly. Why are we the interested public being kept in the dark.    Just saying.
