Well done Annette/John. Amazing amount of data you have found.
Yes the Clara in 1901 is a real mystery. Drew a complete blank when I looked 2006/2007.
Both Aunt Annie (Bristow) & Aunt Clara (Perkins) had daughters named Clara ,10 & 8 respectively in 1901. Extremely unlikely but have wondered if either of these two were in fact Nieces and not daughters? As I say unlikely.

Very good, well done. If you fancy one last challenge 😀
See if you can find my 93 year old Mum in Law’s Mother in the 1901 census.
Clara Hogarth born Shoreditch 1887 Father John Hogarth Mother Mary Ann Hogarth nee Buckley.
Got her in the 1891. Her Mum and brother William soon died and her two nearest siblings Elizabeth & Susan went in and out of care. Father John hit on hard times & My Mum in Law says her Mum Clara went into the care of a “well off family” where She felt very uncomfortable. We have no name or address. MIL recounts bumping into this family with her Dad as a small girl before the war in BG and when her Mum found out She was furious. Clara married John Evans in 1909 & MIL was their youngest born 1927.
Any help we would be eternally grateful & may just lay a mystery to rest.
Cheers

That’s great thanks. Now trying to find their marriage.
Circa 1851/52 as he is still with parents on 1851 census but 1861 he has a daughter , Susan, 10 years old. Tried several name variations but no luck so far.
Any help gratefully received 😀

I just cannot find any 1871 census information on a certain Thomas Buckley of Bethnal Green (Wife’s Grt Grt Grandad).
1861 census he’s in BG aged 32 born BG with Wife Susan (30) born BG but probably Limehouse.
Susan 10
James?
Mary Ann 3
Anne 2 months

And
1881 aged 53 Coachsmith. Wife Susan 48
William 14
Jane11
Clara 8
Eliza 5
He died in 1896.

There is a Thomas Buckley in Birmingham 1871 as a lodger but occupation Tailor so probably not him. Cannot find any info on the family for that census and it would really help for a major query 30 years later.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Mary Ann married John Hogarth 07/09/1874.
