Monica,                                                                                                                                        I knew she lived in Carnwath Road Carluke but he was not with her then. None of the family that are still living knows anything about him. He is a mystery to all the family. I've been told he was not good to Joan at all

Hi everybody,  it's been a long time since I have been on this site.... I am looking for information on Robert Dickson who was born in Cambusnethan 1887 and was married to Joan Wigston in Carluke in 1910. He was my late husband's grandfather and not one of the family that are still alive knows anything about him.  Can anyone help me please. Thanks in advance

Who were your Great grand parents ?

Graeme, There is no Honeybank Road in Carluke as I said I was born and brought up right next to Honeybank. It had about 4 to 6 houses there and was just of Belstane Road. The houses belonged to the Coal board.

I was born and brought up in Carluke and I have never heard of Honeybank Road Carluke.
Honeybank in Carluke was not far from where I was born. It was only known as Honeybank and was miner houses. As far as the A72 this is no where near Carluke. That Road runs from Hamilton to Lanark along the Clydeside. The name of the person you are looking for would help and maybe I can help you as there was no more that 6 houses at Honeybank.

On my tree I go back as far as William's mother and father who died in 1866 and are buried in Lanark. I found their grave. I also have Mary's mother and father. I do not have dates yet as I am still searching the same line.
