Good suggestions - thank you.  I'll contact them and see what they say.

Canada / Mohawk Chapel original records
« on: Monday 04 September 23 17:06 BST (UK)  »
The Ontario Genealogical Society Publication #303 Brant County Mohawk Chapel History has marriage transcriptions for 1827-1877, including a transcription of the 1829 marriage that I am interested in.
Is there anywhere I can get a copy of that original marriage record?

I'd be grateful for help in locating an obituary for a Gladys Brown (maiden name Parry) who died in or near Toronto in 1994 (probably March or May.)

There is also a marriage record for an Archibald Graham in Vancouver on 18 Dec 1930.  He married Alice Hunter and his parents were James Graham and Matilda Boyd.

Familysearch.com gives the information that Archibald Harry Graham (who died in Vancouver on 10 Jan 1933) was born in Ottawa on 2 April 1894.  It also states that he was married and that his father's name was George Graham.

Canada Lookup Request / Re: Robert Orlando Peterson, RCAF

There is a reference to him on this French language website, a little over halfway down.  The writing is dated 1969 and although I didn't read it all , it seems to deal with the Polish uprising during WWII.  It says that after they were shot down, Robert Orlando Peterson and navigator Philip Anderson fought with them (presumably the Polish partisans) and then they were evacuated to England via Odessa on the Black Sea.  The writer then goes on to say: "Twenty three years later I met Orlando and . . . we recognized each other immediately."
This would suggest that Peterson may have still been alive 23 years after 1944, in 1967.

Canada Lookup Request / Re: Harry and Florence Farrant Canada

When I looked several years ago I did find Harry's obituary, printed in the Vancouver Sun on 19 Mar 1968.  It states that he is survived by wife Florence, son Bertram, daughter Brenda and four grandchildren.  It also gives Brenda's married name and states that she was living in Calgary at the time.
I did find this Alberta obit from 2016 which may be Brenda. - the names and her birthdate match Harry's obit and other information in this thread, as do some of the other details.

I can send you a copy of Harry's obit if you PM me your email address.
