Travelling People / Williams / Cooper Family

I am trying to locate as many of the Williams/Cooper family as I can to put us all in touch with one another to share stories, photos etc.  This relates to the Williams / Cooper families primarily from the London area etc who are direct descendants of Matthias Cooper the 'rat catcher'.

Very interested in this as I am directly related to Matthias Cooper (my great great great grandad).  The person who said that they often go by the name of Williams is correct too.  I am related to the coopers and Williams from Mitcham Common as per census records. Looking to exchange info.

Travelling People / Looking for Smiths
« on: Monday 31 May 10 08:36 BST (UK)  »
Trying to locate my nan Sophie's side of the family.  Sadly my nan (born August 1922) died back in April 2008.  But I do remember her talking a lot about her parents, I believe George and (Sophie?) Smith, and her grandmother Polly.  Some of my nan's siblings were Terence, Arthur, Lucy, George and Elizabeth.  Liz died in around 1991 in Acton, London.  Any information on my great grandparents would be gratefully received.

Yes that is her.  Thanks ever so much.  I know when she died... I have no other information for her.  I'm trying to locate her side of the family and my great grandad too.  Gosh that was quick!  xoxox

This is interesting.  Has anyone ever heard of my great grandmother Queenie Williams who lived in Battersea, two marriages one to a Hearn, the other (well officially they just jumped the broomstick I believe lol) to a Morgan.  Any info appreciated.
