You can search the Ellis Island Immigration records to see if you can find his arrival in USA https://www.statueofliberty.org/ellis-island/

There is a probate packet for Edward Maurice HARVEY who died 1944 at NSW State Archives.
https://search.records.nsw.gov.au/permalink/f/1ebnd1l/ADLIB_RNSW112471263

I can photograph this for you next time I am there if you don't have it.   It should have a death cert, a will and more about the relationship to his heirs.   This could give more clues to his family background.

adding :   Apparently he died intestate http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article225480497 so there won't be a will but there could be certs showing relationships to determine next-of-kin (s).

Hi Emanon,
   Happy to help. :)

There is a divorce file for Alfred Sydney HEATH and Rita Agnes HEATH https://search.records.nsw.gov.au/permalink/f/1ebnd1l/ADLIB_RNSW110743834

I can't see any probate records for them at NSW archives https://www.records.nsw.gov.au/
(just type a name into main search box on home page)

I should be able to visit in a week or so.

Hi Joe,
   All is going well.  :)

I did the Toms divorce, the Bishop divorce and the Sawtell divorce back in June.  Did you not receive a link to the photographs?   No matter I can send them again.   Or is there another request which I have missed?

Hi hensher,
There are records at the NSW State Archives.    I can photograph them for you when next I am there (but it probably won't be until after Christmas).
