Hello,
I'm following the Moulson thread and getting more and more confused! My mother told me years ago that a Thomas Moulson (Master Cutler 1854) was an ancestor but subsequent research has shown he was not a direct ancestor - that was a Benjamin Moulson who was born in 1820 and died in 1847 after having two children with Emma (Shipley possibly) who was also born in 1820 and died, I think, in Wakefield in 1884. My line continued with their daughter Alice (1843) who married an Isaac Schofield.
I think Benjamin's father was a Joseph or George Moulson who may have married a Hannah (unknown). They may also have been the parents of a Thomas Moulson who was born in 1818. It doesn't seem likely that he was the Master Cutler as he would only have been 36 years old in 1854. So many Thomas Moulsons! Do any of these confusing details ring bells with anyone?!
