I am in contact with CM in Oregon and we have shared a lot of information that you may already have.  I don't think I have been in contact with anyone in Canada or England.

Margaret McGuire married Michael Welch May 8th 1888 in Portland, Oregon.  They had nine children Thomas Edward 1889, Julia Catherine 1891, Mary Winnifred 1893, Margaret Gertrude 1894, William Michael 1896, Eileen Rose 1898, Ella Maria1901, Elizabeth Beatrice 1903 & George Leslie 1905.

Margaret's sister, Beatrice, also immigrated to Portland and married a man named Riley.  They had no children.

Margaret's brothers who immigrated to Portland were Thomas, Michael & William.

Elizabeth Beatrice was my grandmother.  She married Emmett Hanly and they had they had three children.

My initials are SG and I live in California

Catherine Breheny was my great-great grandmother.  Her daughter, Margaret, was my great grandmother.  I don't have an information on the Breheny family but I would be interested.

Were you ever able to find a birth certificate for Charles?  I am related to John and Catherine McGuire's oldest daughter, Margaret, who moved to Portland, Oregon  about 1900.  I didn't have Charles or Jane on my list but I know Mary Ann was Margaret's sister and still living in Cornagee, Ireland in 1911.  I had heard that Peter had moved to Scotland so perhaps Charles went with him.
