on the parish register burials Kezia is listed as infant died 03.01.1854 buried St John the Baptist Whitton. On the marriage certificate of Elizabeth Wade and Samuel Walker the Witnesses are William Wade and Amelia Wade. I am presuming it is William the eldest son but Amelia would only be about 13 years old as on 1891 census she is still living with parents in Whitton age 32 born 1859 [[Dressmaker] but in 1872 they probably didn't take much notice of age of witness!
Do you belong to the Schofield line of seafarers I have a few books, one of which is by Fred Schofield, Humber Keels and Keelmen, very big family of Schofields listed in it. Perhaps thats how Jane Wade met with the Schofield name. I have only recently started on this side of the family and with it being local to me its great fun as I can visit the family areas quite easily.
Whitton is only a few miles away as is Broughton and Winterton, the areas where Elizabeth and her sons lived. Wade married Frances Metcalf and recently someone else has contacted me with details of the Metcalf line as her Gt Grandmother was sister to Frances.
