Technical Help / Rechargeable Batteries
« on: Sunday 16 July 06 09:51 BST (UK)  »

Morning All

I have a digital Camera thats quite heavy on batteries, so I purchased a set of rechargeables -also a greener option- I did not use them for a couple of weeks and when I came to use them they were flat, the question is do rechargeables lose there charge if not used For a period of time. I need to know as I dont want to get into the same situation were I go out for a day round the local churches taking pics and find I have flat batteries in my Camera. Yours Chris

Thanks in advance Yours Chris

*********************NEW INFO*******************************
Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to look at my post.

I have taken the name Cantill from an entry on the IGN, this entry is a transcripted entry rather than a submitted enrty but as we all know could well be a transcription error.

MARTHA CANTILL Female
Family Marriages: S
pouse: GEORGE GRANT Family
Marriage: 29 JUN 1874 Saint Marys, Portsea, Hampshire, England
Husband Age at Marriage: 22
Wife Age at Marriage: 21
 ~~~~~~~~
Messages: Extracted marriage record for locality listed in the record. The source records are usually arranged chronologically by the marriage date.
I have Martha and George in the 1881 census living in Portsea which is very close to Portsmouth.
 I then checked Free BDM (which in hindsight I should have done first) and her surname is listed as CANTELL
Cantell Martha Portsea 2b 745
Grant George Portsea 2b 745
I would like to appologise to you all for wasing your time looking for the wrong person but if anyone is forgiving enough to have a look for a MARTHA Cantell and her family in the 1861-1871 census,
 I would be most grateful yours Chris
Norfolk / Jeremiah Colman- The Mustard King
« on: Sunday 08 January 06 13:08 GMT (UK)  »
Hi All
          I was wondering if anyone has Jeremiah in there tree, family rumours imply that my wifes family of Forrest are somehow connected with the Colman family, this maybe have to be taken with a pinch of salt or maybe mustard.
  I have trawled the net for some details of Jeremiah so as I can make a start but unfortunaly other than he started his mustard business in 1814 I can find no further info that leads anwhere.
If anyone can give me a push in the right direction I would be most greatful.
Workhouse Admissions C1901
Hi All
I have a missing reletive on the 1901 census, her husbqand is not listed as being a widower, so I assume his wife was elsewere at the time of the census. The only possible matchI have found is in the St Pancras workhouse. The question is would someone enter the work house because the husband was not able to look after her and the children, as she may have been unwell in some way either physicaly or mentaly. They must have got together again at some point as they had another child in December 1902.
Any thoughts would be most welcome.
Yours Chris
Hi All
        Could someone please look up a Frances Fitzpatrick Age 34 born Devonport London. I believe that this may be a transcription error for Frances Fitzgerald the wife of John A Fitzgerald who has gone missing. As they had a child together in 1902. Any help would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance Chris
