« on: Thursday 08 September 22 18:05 BST (UK)  »
My earliest is William Brounton/Brunton.. Christened .Mar 23 1767 at Ladyyard,Kirkurd,Peebles, married to Jane/Janet Cl(e)rkison/Clarkson .
William Brunton their son was born Aug 8 1793 at Stow,,died Aug 13 1854 at Redhead,Selkirk,he was married to Janet Notman ,Jun 8 1821.
William & Janet Clarkson also had a day. Jul 3 1797...she appears to have married a John Gay Nov 1823,
I am always seeking more info and open to any errors, corrections and advice,
          Cheers

Roxburghshire / Graveyards in Castleton & Newcastleton Rox. with Croziers
« on: Saturday 28 May 22 16:02 BST (UK)  »
Is the "Churchyard Cemetery" in Newcastleton, the same as "Old Castleton Cemetery"..or are they two different ones.
I have a Robert Crozier buried in the Churchyard in 1857 and his 2 sons in 1858 and 1859, their cert just say Newcastleton.
 Please enlighten me...

Carolyn, I am researching the same family. Isabell and her sister both had baby girls 3 days apart, with no fathers listed.Isabell married Fergus Hunter and the sister  I am still looking for.
Robert Crozier and his wife Rebecca Ashcroft had 9 known children.
 Cheers  Ann
