Hi i am looking for any information on the Cole Family who lived in the Mid Rows, New Monkland's Lanarkshire. My great Grandfather was Samuel Cole and i believe he was born in Ireland, my great grandmother was Elisabeth Mckee, Samuel was coal miner, any info would be amazing! Thanks.

Hi there! I am trying to find any information of the Cole family who lived in Polmont roughly in the 1900's.
My great grandfather was Peter Cole who was a miner and his wife my great grandmother Janet Williamson Bell, they married in Polmont December 1924 any info would be fab!

Hi, yeah i am pretty sure this is my Family, my great grandmother was Janet Williamson Bell Cole and her husband was Peter Cole, i am led to believe Peter died in England somewhere and was also buried there, would be keen to know where?
I thought they lived in the minors rows in Stoneyburn, but Strathie Terrace rings a bell :) and i also know there are still some relations in the Redding Falkirk area.Thanks

There is a death in 1956 in Stoneyburn  of a Janet Williamson Cole, other name Bell, aged 52. Husband was a Peter Cole, coal miner. Living at 9 Strathie Terrace, Stoneyburn.  her parents were - William Williamson Bell, joiner and Margaret m.s. Henderson, deceased.

Hi, to be honest i dont really know much, was just interested to see if anyone could remember them, I know they lived in the old rows in stoneyburn probably round about the 1930's, My grandmothers name was Janet Bell Cole her husbands name is still unknown to me. I am also keen to know where they came from before that, i am lead to beleive they came from Ireland? Any info would be great, Thanx
