Thanks all mmm gads lane may be promising
but errrr once again by 1901 she gives her age as 38 a widow living in merthyr tydfil
as for the marriage cert this appears to offer a clue as Elizabeth Evans is a witness
and I have info to suggest this maybe elizabeth hadley a sister of harriet elizabeh hadley married a william evans william killed in colliery accident 1878 buffery old worcester  as was harriets husband isaiah 1895 and son Isaiah junior  1904 in Bedlinog south wales in 1891 she is living in llangynwydd middle glamorgan where a thomas owen b 1857 dudley is a widow with two children is also living with the family and is stated as brother in law the sarah owen marriage came from a relative and at present appears reliable I may as well throw My grandmother into the equasion as
she is born around 1882 dudley harriet also had another son Willam g jones who appears to have moved on by 1901 census thanks all ....finally I believe harriet died around 1945 and sarah jane 1951

Hi All
I realise I have posted on this topic before
but despite having new info Im still looking for a definite birth for my gr grandmother
ie Harriet Hadley I have obtained the marriage cert which states She married in 1880 to
Isaaih Jones marriage age gives their ages as both 22 her father is named as joseph hadley desceased Isaiahs father Reuben Jones occ shearer despite trawling through numerous records
it seems she does not appear to be living with her parents ie Joseph Hadley...or her mother who
I believe to be Sarah Hadley nee Owen  married  joseph 1841 joseph is said to be from shutt end  sarah daughter of Robert Owen and Ann Bickerton of Dawley Magna Shropshire Robert and Ann married 1811  I have looked at this a few times am I missing something obvious need help to fill this gap please Thankyou Hugheszee

Hi There
I had similar problems while researching a street name in Mountain Ash
I called at the local library where a chap informed Me that a few of the older street names no longer exist most of the houses are still there they (the council) renamed a few streets back some years ago so your street may be renamed
