If you scroll down there are separate superintendents for Cowpen and Newsham Blyth Cemeteries.

I can’t see what year this is.

A bit of family history…

1851  Timothy Potts  Bennett  (1830 – 1895) is a butcher at Newsham.
1861 Then segue into being the superintendent at Newsham Cemetery.  This is next to Blyth Link House – Holy Moon.
1871 He is the Cemetery Keeper at Blyth Cemetery.  This is next to Blyth Link House – Holy Moon Inn.  His son Joseph Fenwick Bennett is born at Blyth Links Cemetery the same year, per birth notice.
1881  It is listed as Cemetery Blyth next to Holy Moon Inn and before that Link House  Farm.
1891  He is a gardener in Morpeth.

I am glad that you were able to get in contact, Sherri. I have also heard back from Paul, but it was purely to try and get you in touch.

I am trying to get in contact with who I think is the original poster to alert him to this.

South Africa / Re: What is 4,00 Rand?

Thank you. I have found the names of some other private researchers. Maybe ten years ago, I rang the Western Cape Archives and paid over the phone. It may be another option.  That was only one page.  I do not have South African ancestry, but one of my direct ancestors lived there and my research is in connection with him.

I finally plucked up the courage to contact the Western Cape Archives.  I heard back from Erika, but the email was forwarded to another of her colleagues. I received a formal quote for 4,00 rand which is under one dollar Australian, but I am unable to order it because there is no way of paying such a small sum from Australia.
