Malcom Alexander Smith, born August 9, 1904, York, Ontario.  Parents: Malcom Smith, Mary MacDonald.

From “Schedule A” (list of births), York, York County, Ontario list of births

It looks like this man remained in Canada (or came back) until at least the time of his marriage, in 1935.

Hi,

If you are still interested in this Malcolm as a possibility - his obit is in the Globe and Mail.   As Lisa said, he died in Toronto in 1976.

Malcolm A Smith died Feb 19 1976 in Toronto.   Husband of Ellen McCrohan.  Brother of Florence Scott of St. Catharine's and Duncan Smith of Toronto.   Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Hi,

There are several articles in the Toronto papers around that time mentioning Rev E M Brand (later Canon), rector of Christ Church Cathedral in Hamilton.   There is a notice about his resignation in 1906.  It says Rev Canon Bland has tendered his resignation as the rector of Christ Church Cathedral.  Rev E M Bland has been the rector of of the cathedral for about 13 years and for several years previous was curate there.

AHA - there you go!    Well done Eileen.   I think you have certainly found Annie.   Likely Hugh too.  I missed that other thread with lots of duplicated information.   Thanks for posting that link!   Looks like I couldn't find an obit for Annie in 2018 either!!

When Elsie Kirkham's mother Blanche died in 1958, Elsie is listed as Mrs H Jamieson.

I am not seeing an obvious obituary for Elizabeth Kerr Semple Jamieson.   IF this is the right Hugh Jamieson - Elizabeth either died, or divorced before 1958.

I wonder if there is an obituary for Hugh Jamieson - died 1977 in Palm Beach, buried Parry Sound?   See Eileen's earlier post with all the information.

Richard Kenneth Brake's obit doesn't help much.  He died Jan 13 1984 - the result of a car accident on Dec 24 1983.   He was the president and owner of Alumaloy Casting Limited.   He went by the name Ken.   He had been commodore of the Toronto Sailing and Canoe Club.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club and of the Alexandra Yacht Club.   He was 82.   He was survived by his wife Elizabeth.   No mention of children, inlaws etc.
