World War Two / Re: What uniform is this Corporal wearing.

Hi Folks

Thanks for the info. I think you are right to think late 40s rather than my first thought of 20's or 30's The old guy Uncle Willie died in 1950 and the ladies clothes are sort of wartime or soon after when rationing I suppose might have been in force. Now I have to find who was in the RAF? presumably the brides husband.
thanks again for the input

Thanks for all the input. I don't know who they are except they are in my Grandmothers photo album so must be family of some sort. Agree two girls at the back look like twins and the boys are probably same family because they look alike. Think they are UK pics though lots of relations emigrated around 1905-1910.

Hi again
After the success that GR2 and jim1 gave me with my Buckie photos I attach another puzzle. Any idea of date from the clothing fashions?
thanks

Wow some really useful info there because I have a lot of photos done at those studios and this will help me date and identify the relatives. As requested I attach pic of 2 of my great aunts at those studios. I wonder what their ages are? Any guesses would be appreciated.
Thanks

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / William Clark Photographer Buckie

Hi  sleuths out there!!
I have large photos on card obviously around 1890-1915 age but maybe the dates can be found by knowing when William Clark of Buckie had his studio.  I have some taken in a studio at Baron Street Buckie and some taken in Low Street Buckie. What dates was he operating at in these locations is the question??

Thanks Carol and Gadget I was hoping about 1895 because it would fit with DOB's of some brothers I am trying to place.

Thanks for that. I'm still left with quite a timespan. Any indications of time from the attached picture?

Can anyone tell me at what period E M Middleton of 181 King Street Aberdeen photographic studio operated since I have a number of portrait photos of family ancestors done there and I am trying to place them using dates and ages of them as seen in the pictures i have.
thanks
