Shropshire Completed Look up Requests / Whitchurch and Wellington Shropshire - Mathers or Mathars

I have a christening record for my 2nd great-grandfather - Thomas Mathars for 20 Nov 1813 in Whitchurch, Shropshire. It states that his father was Joseph Mathers, a farmer and his mother was Elizabeth (probably Beddows). I cannot find any other children so I would like to know if anyone has access to the Whitchurch records of around that time.
In 1841, Joseph 65, a corn inspector, and Elizabeth 60 or 65 are living in Riddal Heath, Tarporley, Cheshire and in 1851 Elizabeth, now a widow, is living with Thomas and his family in Church Lane, Tarporley. The 1851 census states that she is 74 and was born in Wellington, Shropshire (ie born c 1775).
I would be grateful for any more information about Joseph and Elizabeth and their families.
[NB I was confused by a similarly named family in Ellersmere, but that Elizabeth was 10 years younger).

This is an old post but I also wanted to say that the Black Country History (www.blackcountryhistory.org) website has some great photos of the Wolverhampton Workhouse - including some of Edward Sattin and his family - from the Wolverhampton Archives.

Radnorshire / Mary Bostock Bledfa, John Tong Discoed

I would like to obtain the information from the baptism records of the
following people:
Mary Bostock born in Bledfa between 1783 and 1788 (married John Tong between
1800 and 1816. where ?)
and her son, John Tong who was born in Discoed in 1820 (probably
baptised at St Michael's Church, Discoed).
By 1841, Mary (53) and John (54) Tong (aka Tongue) were living in
Downton, Herefordshire with their younger children, Jane Tongue 13,
Martha Tongue 10, and Charlotte Tongue 7 - all born in Downton.
Their older children are
Mary Tong (born Kington 1817)
John Tong (born Discoed 1820)
Elizabeth Tong (born Shropshire 1825)
Any information would be gratefully received.
