Michelew, please could you get in touch? My 84 year old mother in law would love to have news about your grandma and her sister

I have Ellen Dunphy on her marriage to Matthew Lyons as living at Spring Garden Alley, Waterford in 1883. I'm trying to find out who she was living with as her family at the time were living in Ballyhack, Co Wexford. Matthew was living at Ballybricken (?).

If someone was born in the Enniscorthy Workhouse in 1892,  which would be the nearest catholic Church for them to be baptised in?

Wexford / Re: Pension Records 1960's

Hi Shorts, I (and others) have been unable to find her on the 1901 census. Her birth was estimated from the 1911 census and also confirmed by family. After years of trying to find any record for her I am assuming that the only 'paper' evidence to lead me to her birth is the pension record. Thanks

She was never on birth records. She always said she had never been registered ( quite a few of my family were never registered)

Wexford / Pension Records 1960's

This is probably an extremely long shot but, is there a way to get a copy of a  pension record of a person who died in 1972 aged about 84? She was never registered on BMD but I do know she used her baptism lines as proof of age. All her paperwork was destroyed after her death so at the moment it looks like the only record of her birth is held on the pension record. (She was born in Wexford but no idea which parish) ???
