Wow! what a quick response.

Thanks for taking the trouble to answer my question. As I said, it was a long shot - my Edwin was in the right place - Ferntree Gully -at about the right time and was also in WA.

This is just a long shot but I'm interested in your  Edwin HARRIS - who was Hilda May's father.

I have an Edwin HARRIS born 1873 in Bendigo Vic (Nerring Reg) He was a twin to my gfather Edgar HARRIS. Their father was William Symons HARRIS mother Mary Jane GALVIN.

Edwin had a large number of children one of whom was Hilda - don't know much more about him.
