I think you may be right, they don't seem to match.
The Smyth's I have were born in County Meath, but most of the family moved to Dublin at some time in the early 1900s.
Good luck with your search, and best wishes for the new year.

Hello,
I have the date of birth of both
Patrick 28/3/1881 Stamullen
Kate 7/6/1877 Delvin Strand Stamullen
There was another two brothers Joseph and Peter
Joseph 26/5/1879 Baltray Termonfeckin
Peter 1905 (step brother from second marriage on 1911 census), I cannot find his birth.
How are you connected?
Best wishes
Alex

I have just cross checked the info I had on this couple, and I had 10 children
James 1845 St Marys
Catherine 1848 St Marys
Peter 1850 St Marys
Teresa 1853 St Marys
Patrick 1856 Balbriggan
John 1860 Stamullen
Nicholas 1862 Stamullen
Francis 1865 Stamullen
James 1868 Stamullen
Anne 1870 Stamullen
I missed Thomas 1858 Stamullen, mother Catherine Bourne, but that would make it 11, unless anyone has any others?

I haven't had any luck with a marriage for Patrick Smyth and Catherine Bones, and would be grateful if anyone can help with that.
Best wishes

Alex

Hello,
Do you have a marriage date and place for your Francis Giblin and Alice Wynne?
Alex

I think you are right about the column numbers.
It is great to get a little help when I am going off at a tangent.
Thank you
Alex

Hi,
I can see what you are saying about the second line and the corrections. The data was entered in the wrong boxes originally. I cannot decipher the first sentence which seems to refer to a different date to the marriage which is recorded as 23/1/1887.

Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help me decipher this note next to a marriage entry.
Thanks in anticipation

Hi,
I'm afraid I cannot go back that far with the Farrell family. I cannot find a birth for my ancestor William Farrell, but I believe his father was called Bernard Farrell. I'm not sure whether there is a link to your Catherine Farrell, and I think she would be older? Do you know where and when she was born? Alex

Hi,
If you look on the Catholic registers online at the nli, the mothers name for James Smyth is Catherine Bones. I think there are several children for this couple in Stamullen and earlier in Balbriggan and St Mary's Drogheda.
Good luck,
Alex
